10月10日下午，胜利一中国际部中加班全体同学和外籍教师欢聚一堂，共度感恩节。

感恩节是加拿大最重要的传统节日之一。本次活动在新校食堂举行，外教事先为同学们精心烹制了感恩节的传统美食，并认真准备了与节日有关的俗语俚语学习、活动游戏、动画短片等环节。活动中同学们积极思考，踊跃参加，不但零距离地感受了感恩节习俗，丰富了相关词汇，了解了感恩节文化，更进一步懂得感恩，心存感恩，获益良多。

The Sino-Canadian Class Celebrate Thanksgiving Day

On the afternoon of October 10th, students from the Sino-Canadian class of the International Department celebrated the Thanksgiving Day with their foreign teachers.

Thanksgiving Day is one of Canada's most important traditional festivals. The event was held at the school canteen. Besides the delicious traditional Thanksgiving food, the foreign teachers also prepared in advance some colloquial slang activities and games related with this festival, as well as some cartoon shorts. All students obtained a lot from these activities, not only the Thanksgiving customs but also the related vocabulary. By fully understanding the Thanksgiving culture, they felt more grateful to their life. It was a really rewarding experience.
